Our Executive Director Sonya Wilander recently had the pleasure of presenting to members of St. Luke’s Board of Directors. She shared how last year’s CHIF grant helped fund MSCL House programs.
MSCL is excited to announce we were again awarded a grant from St. Luke’s Community Health Improvement Fund (CHIF) to offer these wraparound services to more men in the community:
- Safe and Sober Living gives residents a safe, supportive place to build a solid foundation for recovery.
- Medical, Dental, and Behavioral Health services provide access to free or discounted services to care for the residents, inside and out.
- Nutrition Assistance brings residents together for monthly cooking classes and organized group meals.
- Physical Health Services gives the men the opportunity to recreate in our beautiful surroundings and engage in physical wellness, through gym memberships and funded outdoor activities.
- Financial Literacy educates MSCL residents to make better informed and effective financial decisions, while Matched $avings Accounts build better habits to achieve goals and establish financial independence.
- Education and Technical Skills Training provides residents with continued education through either trade school or college to improve their future employment prospects.
