We stress to our residents that having proper nutrition can help repair damage to organs and tissues, improve immune defenses, increase their energy and mood which in turn helps them maintain sobriety for longer and recover more quickly. At MSCL House recovery is not a one-size-fits-all journey and experience. Sunday, December 20, 2020 1:32pm Yesterday we held the drawing for MSCL House's Chance to Change Holiday Raffle at Jensen Stern in Ketchum. Theresa Jensen picked the winner of the $10,000 Jensen Stern gift certificate. And the winner is.....LISA SQUIRES! Congratulations Lisa and a big thank you to all for making this raffle a huge success! We sold 248 tickets and raised $21,400 to benefit MSCL House program. Thank you for believing in our mission and supporting our cause! “CHANCE TO CHANGE” Holiday Raffle Supports Men’s Second Chance Living (MSCL) Only 500 Tickets to be Sold Winner Receives a $10,000 Jensen Stern Gift Certificate November 19, 2020, Hailey, ID – The non-profit organization, Men’s Second Chance Living (MSCL House), will begin selling raffle tickets for its holiday “Chance to Change” campaign on December 1st. The raffle winner will receive a $10,000 gift certificate to be used at Jensen Stern, the jewelry store in Ketchum. A maximum of 500 tickets will be sold. Funds raised from raffle ticket sales will support MSCL’s all-male sober house in Hailey and related recovery support services. The raffle replaces the in-person fundraiser that MSCL had hoped to hold in 2020.

Hat’s Off to Sonya and John

In addition to managing and running the daily operations at MSCL House for these past two years, Sonya and John have also continued to pursue their degrees in so-cial work and counseling. We are proud to announce they both completed their courses this June, setting a foundation for the next step in their continued education. Sonya received her certification as a Substance Use Disorder Associate through the Idaho Board of Alcohol Drug Counselors. A curriculum that included 2-years of ad-diction studies coursework and 400 hours of training and experience as a counselor for completion.
