SUMMER 2021 Dear Friends of MSCL House,
The first six months of 2021 are now in the books, and we are happy to report that everything is back to normal at MSCL House.
Our residents attending CSI made it through COVID-19 online schooling and emerged with flying colors. They are looking forward to summer activities before resuming their education in the fall. A panoramic view of the Hyperbaric chamber. Four of our residents have completed the first phase of the Hyperbaric Treatment study and are continuing with the second phase of counseling sessions. The Breath of Hope Project continues to document their progress in determining the effectiveness of this type of combined treatment on addiction recovery.
Thank you so much for being part of our team.

THANK YOU TO OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS! We are grateful to the Nancy Eccles and Homer M. Hayward Family Foundation and 100 Men Who Care Wood River Valley for their support of our Compassion Fund and M$A Program. These initiatives enable us to fulfill our vision of providing for our residents physical- and emotional- wellbeing as well as helping them to develop financial skills, paving the path toward long-term recovery. At the installation of the "Solidarity" sculpture at MSCL House are artist, Mary Ann Chubb and patron, Kathy Carson of Carson International, Inc. "To me, it's a permanent reminder of men working together and giving each other a hand. Two men with hands clasped together are stronger than one." - Kathy Carson Carson International, Inc.
At MSCL House, we are fortunate to have many "champions" supporting our cause. The Carson Family, Paul, Kathy and Cassidy, have been generous supporters from the get-go, quietly working behind the scenes and sharing their creative talents, financial support, and unwavering friendship. In collaboration with local artist Mary Ann Chubb, the family gifted MSCL House a beautiful stoneware clay sculpture inspired by our joined-hands logo concept. Mary Ann created the sculpture with guidance from her mentor Rachel Stevens at Boulder Mountain Clayworks. Local tile cutter, Fred Burmester cut the granite and Dane Inman from Sheet Metal Fabrication constructed the pedestal. Making for a spectacular work of art and a permanent reminder to MSCL House residents of the support they receive and give to each other in "Solidarity", for a second chance at a better life.
THANK YOU IDAHO! In April, MSCL House participated in Idaho Gives 2021 receiving $5,000 from generous supporters throughout the week-long campaign. Idaho Gives is a program designed to bring our state together by raising money and awareness for Idaho Nonprofits. BOARD OF DIRECTORS Richard W. Brown Honorable Mark A. Ingram Scott S.
